"Days of Our Lives" celebrates its 42nd anniversary on November 8, 2007. Here's a look back at two of the original castmembers. TOP STORY: Marie Cheatham (Marie) appeared in the pilot episode on November 8, 1965. She remained with the show through 1973. BOTTOM STORY: David McLean (Craig) debuted in the second episode on November 9, 1965. He would marry Marie on-screen in 1966 before departing the series in 1967. McLean died of lung cancer in October, 1995. Cheatham continues to act, appearing in recent episodes of "Monk" and "Desperate Housewives."
