Drake appeared on the 5/16/00 cover with Kristian Alfonso (Hope) and Joseph Mascolo (Stefano). In a unique programming move, "Days" let viewers decide who would be the father of Hope's baby. John "won" on the 9/26/00 cover, but the show then re-wrote the storyline to make it to be Bo's baby.
Dee and Drake appeared with Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott, Genie Francis and Anthony Geary on Soap Opera Digest's 25th anniversary cover of 11/21/00. Drake and Renee Jones (Lexie) said goodbye to Joseph Mascolo (Stefano) on the 6/19/01 cover. Mascolo would not be back in Salem again until 2007.
Dee, Drake, Peter Reckell (Bo) and Kristian Alfonso (Hope) on the Christmas Day cover from 2001. Drake was named one of "Soaps' Sexiest Men" on the 7/29/03 cover, along with Grayson McCouch, Greg Vaughan, Joshua Morrow and Kiko Ellsworth.
The Salem Stalker storyline was the main focus of the 12/16/03 cover. Marlena was revealed to be the Salem Stalker on the 2/3/04 cover. It was later revealed that Marlena was being controlled by Andre DiMera, and she had not actually killed anyone.
In one of the most shocking storylines ever on "Days", Marlena seemed to kill Alice Horton (original cast member Frances Reid) on the 4/6/04 cover. Thankfully, a month later, on the 5/25/04 cover, it was revealed Marlena was not a killer and Alice (and all the other Salem Stalker victims) were alive and well.
On the 9/21/04 cover, Dee and Drake appeared with a smaller photo featuring real life husband & wife Arianne Zucker and Kyle Lowder (Nicole and Brady). On the 3/29/05 cover, they shared the cover with Lauren Koslow (Kate) and Josh Taylor (Roman).
Dee & Drake were the featured photo on this "Days" cover from 4/12/05, along with Matthew Ashford (Jack), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Peter Reckell (Bo) and Kirsten Storms (Belle). Drake and Dee shared the 7/19/05 cover with Wayne Northrop (ex-Roman, now Alex). Also featured: future "Days" castmate Tamara Braun (Ava).
Dee and Wayne Northrop (Alex) were featured on the 40th anniversary "Days" cover of 11/15/05, along with Jason Cook (Shawn), Farah Fath (Mimi) and Matthew Ashford (Jack). The 10/3/06 cover featured Dee & Drake along with former "Days" husband/wife duo Billy Warlock (Frankie) and Julie Pinson (Billie).
The 10/23/07 cover featured the news of John's upcoming "death." A few months later, on the 1/15/08 cover, Drake was back on "Days", but John had no memories of his former life.
Dee & Drake were the featured photo on the 2/26/08 cover, along with Arianne Zucker (Nicole) and Patsy Pease (Kimberly). Deidre and Drake are featured with Tamara Braun (Ava) on the 6/10/08 cover.
