Deidre Hall (Marlena) & Drake Hogestyn (John) appeared on NBC's primetime Olympic coverage at 8:45PM ET/7:45PM CT on Saturday night, February 11, 2006, during a chat by host Bob Costas and reporter Jimmy Roberts. They appeared, in character, in a comedic sketch about the 2002 Winter Olympics figure skating judging controversy. Here is their sketch in full:

Part 1: Marlena's Penthouse
Marlena: Listen to me, please. You have to listen to me.
John: Listen to what?
(John throws and breaks a flower vase)
John: You tell me that I shouldn't believe what my eyes are seeing, what my ears are hearing, what my heart is feeling? No more lies!
(Marlena cries)
John: I can't let you make a fool out of me anymore.
Marlena: John, it wasn't me. It was a French judge.

Part 2: Marlena's Penthouse
John: Somebody was cheating somebody, weren't they?
Marlena: Yes, but don't you see. It was so much deeper than that. Yes, the judge fixed it, but her boss forced her to. And if that wasn't enough, the Russian mob was all over it!
