Macdonald Carey (Tom Horton)...continued with "Days" until his death at the age of 81 on March 21, 1994. His voice still opens every episode of "Days."
John Clarke (Mickey Horton)...continued with "Days" until his retirement in January, 2004.
Edward Mallory (Bill Horton)...continued with "Days" until 1980, when he stopped acting and became a director; returned briefly in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Died at the age of 76 on April 4, 2007.
Susan Flannery (Laura Horton)...continued with "Days" until 1975. Has been playing Stephanie Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful" since its debut in 1987.
Susan Seaforth (Julie Olson)...married her co-star, Bill Hayes, in 1974. Continued with "Days" until 1984; returned from 1990-1993; and has been making sporadic appearances on "Days" ever since.
Bill Hayes (Doug Williams)...married his co-star, Susan Seaforth, in 1974. Continued with "Days" until 1984; returned from 1986-1987; and has been making sporadic appearances on "Days" since 1993.
