it states that Ali was on Punky Brewster, but I happened to find this online,
from a September 2000 TV Guide:
Q: Someone once told me that the woman
who plays Samantha Brady on Days was on Punky Brewster. Is this true? My sister
and I have been arguing about it for a while. Please, settle the
conflict!!!
A: I went straight to the source to get you an answer. "I was
never on Punky Brewster," says Alison Sweeney. "I did a movie of the week with
Soleil Moon Frye for Disney, but I was never on the series."
