thing"...as his obituary states, he fulfilled his dying
wish of having his final words be memorable...just before dying he
whispered "And now for a word from our sponsor"...he died in Holland,
Pennsylvania on October 1, 2000 at the age of 87.

Lives" on April 3, 2007 as the show's writers' assistant. He started doing
double duty as a dialogue writer from September 2008-November 2008 and
September 2009-March 2011. Quan did double duty as both a
breakdown writer and writers' assistant from September 2011-September
2016, when he was promoted to head writer. He became a story consultant in
2017...He won his first Daytime Emmy Award in 2012 and has been nominated
